Although you can ride in sneakers at some studios, it’s best to ride in cycling shoes since they give more support, more power, and muscle engagement with every, single stroke!

Check out our Slipstream cycling shoe and take your class experience to the next level! Ordered a new pair of SPD Cleats with your Slipstreams? We recommend having your local bike shop or studio install the cleats for you, but if you prefer to install them at home here are some tips.

    For best results TIEM recommends:

    1. Align the cleat with the ball of your foot and tighten the screws securely such that the cleat does not slide or rotate against the sole. *It is very important that cleats be installed as tight as possible!*
    2. Regularly check the screw heads for wear and always ensure they are secure and tight on the sole of the shoe. Your cleats may need some slight adjusting and tightening in between multiple rides!
