Maybe my foot shape changed, or alternating between two different shoes had some kind of effect, but my feet started hurting and feeling tingly and numb regardless of whether I wore my SPD or Peloton shoes. When I Googled "cycling shoes that fit like sneakers," I found my way to the TIEM Slipstream.

This is a magnificently comfortable cycling shoe unlike anything I have ever worn on a bike. Obviously that aren't Asics GEL that you would want to take on a run, but they are pretty much equivalent to a cross trainer shoe.

I am normally a men's 12 US, but they were a little tight and had to be exchanged for a 12.5. Exchange was free, quick and easy, and I think they actually sent the new ones out once they received shipping confirmation of the old because they arrived in 2-3 days after I dropped off the 12s at UPS.

The description is very clear, and there are warnings in the box as well as on the bottom, but make sure you try them on before adding cleats.
